ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m HAM - an award-winning London-based artist and designer.
I help brands, artists, and organisations turn ideas into stories people actually notice, remember and connect with.
Recognised by the Immersive Opera Award, the British Council’s New Narratives Award, and the BIMA 100; I’ve worked with more than 60 clients including Nike, Adidas, Sony Music, Warner, Canva, MTV, Wingstop, M&C Saatchi and the Royal Opera House.
With work ranging from sold-out merch collabs and creative direction to murals, album covers, and immersive projects across VR, AR and film, I’m always thinking about more than just visuals. I care about story, structure, audience and cultural meaning as much as I care about style.
After studying Architecture at Newcastle University, I moved into the freelance world to work across a range of industries. Over that time I’ve built meaningful relationships with record labels, tech start-ups, brands, producers and incredible freelance talent. I know how to take an idea, build it properly and carry it through without losing its origin.
I care deeply about access, opportunity and cultural memory. Through talks, workshops, mentoring and community-led projects, I always try to make work that carries weight, connects with real everyday people, and leaves something useful behind for those yet to come.

Ah, the old 'jack of all trades' question—I've always had a bit of a love-hate relationship with it! Truth be told, my ADHD plays a big role in my eclectic art style. The constant urge to explore and master new artistic and illustrative styles keeps me perpetually engaged and excited about my work. This diversity not only satisfies my creative curiosity but also adds significant value to my capabilities as an artist. In my opinion, being able to adapt and excel in various styles is one of my superpowers

One of my biggest challenges has been managing my ADHD, which I was only officially diagnosed with within the last 2 years, though it has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. ADHD affects me daily, making seemingly simple tasks like composing error-free emails or managing my time quite difficult. Despite these challenges, I've been striving to mitigate and overcome them as best as I can, often without medication or traditional support structures. This journey has taught me a lot about resilience and adaptability, qualities that I bring into every project I undertake.
