PROJECT GOAL
A client from Namibia commissioned me to create a portrait for their dad’s 70th birthday – a respected farmer and community leader with deep roots in the land. The celebration drew nearly 400 people, so the piece needed to honour his legacy and life’s work.
The portrait is layered with meaning – from the Braham bull, his prized animal, to the vintage watch he wore back in the 80s. His outfit is the same one he wears on the farm, grounding him in his element. Every detail speaks to pride, tradition and endurance. The finished work was beautifully framed by Unframed Namibia and became a real centrepiece of the event.
